Two years back I took Air Asia for my Seoul trip.

Thanks to the “everybody can fly” KLIA2 is totally different atmosphere altogether from the KLIA I must say.

You can see the colourful people from all sorts of life.

One that catches my eyes and attention was this one old couple and two young men with them. I presumed that they are from our neighbouring country from the look of them and the language that they used. My attention was focused on the old couple instead. They are probably at the age of 70-ish, small build and carrying this bulky backpack.

Visiting their kids maybe, I said to myself.

With the size of them and the weight that they were carrying at their back, it’s understandable that they walked quite slow. Almost reaching the escalator the old lady stood there for good few second, Probably contemplating when to step on it. When she finally make her move it was the wrong one and lost her balance. Luckily enough I was right behind her and managed to grab her by the arm.

I only let go once we safely reach the top and called the two lads. Told them what happened and asked them to take the old folks and use the elevator instead. I then continue walking to the arrival gate with teary eyes.

What’s with the tears?

My emotions get engaged with anything that involves old-people super fast. I always think that could be my parents. And that’s just another way of me paying forward the kindness that other people had done to my parents when they were around.

Bless those who still have their parents, even at that age with little that have, be it energy and so on, they still travel the distance to be with their kiddos.

Also, because I missed my parents so much.

That was two years ago.

I’m not sure why out of sudden my mind wanders. I hope they are well.
