Just some thoughts on the special day.

To the man that has brought me up in such a way that no one else could.

Thank you Papa, for being such an inspiration. Not only that but also for setting up an example in so many ways.

You’re far from perfect but even through your shortcomings and weaknesses you’ve taught me a lot.

As a matter of fact, you never use your card as a father to get away with all your mistakes.

We were always reminded by you that “a father is not always right’ and we’re allowed to tell you if you were wrong.

Not having “things” is not a curse but most of the time is a blessing. With very little that we had back then, you taught me to appreciate life and to value things that money can never buy; like family.

To be thankful not just with what was given but also things that we dont have.

You’ve taught me what not to become and what shall I strive for in life.

Most importantly, thank you for giving me my voice to stand up for myself.

Pa, I won’t be whatever that I am today without your guidance and whatever that I’ve achieved for all this while, I owed it all to you.

With all the memories that you’ve left behind, I miss you a little extra today.

Happy Father’s Day Papa.

Allahummaghfir lahu warhamhu wa afihi wa’fu anhu.

♥️
Yours Bint.
